The short answer… HECK YEAH THEY ARE!

The saying “the days are long but the years are short” hits me every time I look at my own kids. And if you’re a parent, you know exactly what I’m talking about. If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed in this life, it’s the fact that your babies are only babies for what feels like 1 second. Then you turn around and all of a sudden they start pronouncing words the right way, they start needing you a little less. It’s the most bittersweet thing you’ll ever experience to watch your babies grow up. THIS is why family photos are so important.

I’m a firm believer that you should be getting your family photos done once a year. And I know what you’re probably thinking. “Steph, you’re a professional photographer, of course you want us to book a session every year!” But I promise I’m not just saying this because it’s my job. I’m saying this because I’m a mama of two and I know what it’s like to miss all the little details, most of which you end up forgetting about.
